saviourseph[Error: unknown template qotd]I would have said House of Leaves (Mark Z Danielewski), but it's not the easiest book in the world to read with all the footnotes & weird layouts. Then I would've said The Shining or IT (Stephen King both), but they're both doorstops. Haunted (Chuck Palahniuk) was my next choice, but yeah... not for the squeamish (Guts, anyone?).
So I'll go with Dark Water by Koji Suzuki.
