The world gradually faded in from black.
He had no idea how he'd got here, or why his mullet-bearmoured head ached so much, but Snake was pissed. How did someone manage to out-stealth him? Who were they?
Why were there blue feathers plastered to his surprisingly naked crotch?
The monstrous penguin-king floated over the horizon like a hammer-wielding zeppelin in search of fresh prey. Maybe that sissy angel kid? Tempting, he thought, but probably a bit too hard to catch - those pretty wings looked much more dextrous than his own stubby offerings.
Although he had to sleep some time...
