01. Divide the list up by even and odd. Which group of five would make a better Five Man Band (like a Power Rangers team)? If you think the team would be improved by swapping one character between the even and odd groups, which ones would you switch?

MB would probably be the best leader out of the group - Claudia didn't seem like much of a "people person", really, and the cerebral one was in charge of the Space Pirates after all. I'm putting Seifer as the "chick", mainly because he seems to form strong relationships with powerful people, and the chick tends to be the leader's girlfriend in groupings like this. And now I'm kind of stuck - none of the others fit with the archetypes D:

I'm thinking GLaDOS would be the best leader out of these (mainly because she can't do much else, being suspended from the ceiling and all - born general there :D ), although she might be a bit to crazy to work in that capacity - her way of testing a situation would be to send one of the others in, see if they died or not and then repeat to see if the result was scientifically notable or just a blip... Patchwork Girl gets the "chick" position, due to the mental instability this position shows in a lot of cases - I can fully see her whipping out a frying pan from nowhere to threaten other members with. :) I'm putting Nehelenia as second-in-command as, although a powerful villain with a strong sense of purpose, she's a bit too vulnerable to take the top spot (if she can be defeated by 10 girls telling her they forgive her then she's not really leader material...) The other two seem pretty much givens to me.

Yes, I think Team B wins this round (if only because Team A are still bickering amongst themselves as to who takes which position ^^; )

02. Gender-swap 2 (Nehelenia), 8 (Gumshoe) & 10 (Patchwork Girl). Which character would have the most change in their story arc? Which the least? Would any of these characters have to have a complete personality change to be believable as the opposite sex?

I think they all could work as they are - at first glance, Nehelenia would undergo the most changes, but then again one of the earliest "downfall by vanity" stories was based around a guy (Narcissus), so it wouldn't be much of a stretch. The other two don't really have any set feminine/masculine attributes to them (indeed the Patchwork Girl is asexual except for name), so no real change would occur to their stories.

03. Compare the matchups of 1 & 8 (Tingle/Gumshoe) and 5 & 9 (Claudia/Setzer). (Ignore canon sexual preferences for the moment.) Which couple would be more compatible? Which couple would be more plausible to people from either principle's home culture?

Claudia/Setzer might stand a chance of working actually - I can see Setzer taking Claudia around the world in an airship, showing her that it's really not that bad of a place; he could be just the kind of person who could reach her. Rather sweet :D

04. Your team is 3 (Seifer), 4 (GLaDOS) & 9 (Setzer). The mission consists of a social challenge, a mental challenge and a physical challenge. Which team member do you assign to each challenge?

This one seems easy enough... Give GLaDOS the thinking problem (seeing as she's kinda immobile and too psychotic for anything involving people), Setzer the social one (seeing as he's the least fucked in the head of the group) and Seifer the physical one (he's ridiculously strong - try putting him back on your team later in the game via the debug menu and you'll see D: )

05. 7 (Mother Brain) becomes 1 (Tingle)'s boss for a week in some plausible fashion. How's their working relationship?

...umm yeah I don't really want to envision that one XD

06. 2 (Nehelenia) finds him/her/itself inserted into 6 (Cheshire Cat)'s continuity. As far as anyone other than 2 or 6 is concerned, they've always been there. What role would 2 be presumed to have had in 6's story, and could they fit in without going wonky?

That could work... Nehelenia got herself trapped inside a mirror, so going through the looking-glass woudn't really be much of a culture-shock to her :)

07. 3 (Seifer) and 5 (Claudia) get one wish. The catch is that they have to agree on the wish before they get the benefits of it. What wish would they make?

I don't think they'd have much common ground (apart from both having sucky childhoods, but repairing both of them would count as 2 wishes and they're both too selfish to agree on the one to help). I suppose they could just wish for cake? ^^;

08. 1 (Tingle) and 2 (Nehelenia) are brainwashed by a one-time artifact that works even on people immune to mind control to attack and kill 4 (GLaDOS). They keep their normal personality, skills and competence level, except any Code vs. Killing has been turned off. Can 4 survive? How?

I don't think they'd stand much of a chance, really - they might get through the labs with Tingle's map-making skills at hand, but all GLaDOS would have to do to defeat the witch-queen would be to say she's not even angry... :D

09. 6 (Cheshire Cat), 7 (Mother Brain), 9 (Setzer) & 10 (Patchwork Girl) must help an orphanage full of small and depressed children have a merry Christmas. Who does what, knowing that at the very least the kids will be expecting a visit from Santa

10. 3 (Seifer) and 8 (Gumshoe) are challenged to circumnavigate the Earth in eighty days or less, using only forms of transportation invented before 1900. Can they do it, or will they be fatally distracted by sidequests or their own personality conflicts?

I think they'd manage it actually (although it might take a while with Seifer trying to get better at fishing along the way :) )
