eh, that second one is pretty fucked up but i think the first one is a great step in the right direction. who wants Big Brother telling artists what opinions they're allowed to voice or not? it's not the govt's job to protect us from things we might not want to hear, it's up to people's discretion to decide what they want to listen to or not.
Yeah, the first one wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't already similar protection for racism/sexism/religious attacks etc. - their making a loophole saying "oh, but homophobia is OK" is the problem :/

I'm pretty sure there are people like that everywhere. And I'd agree with oolong with the first until your comment that everyone else was protected. I think they should be unprotected as well...
Not sure, really - Canada seems like a good plan though (wins out over the States for having prettier money & milk in bags... also a lot easier to emigrate to than the US)
