Planning my Hallowe'en costume right now. I have an idea, but i need to rope a girl into it to pull it off (Toya'll probably do it, seeing as she's now single so won't be wanting to theme with a partner - when I can get hold of her I need to ask). Basically, I'm thinking gender-swapped quasi-gothic Black Dahlia & Bugsy Siegel i.e. me as a 1920s flapper, the girl as a gangster in a zoot suit and fedora, possibly both with appropriate mutilations. This could be AWESOME if pulled off right. :D
Only problem I foresee is getting hold of appropriate shoes - going through a cross dresser's shop chance to be expensive, and I'm on a limited budget. *wonders if it's possible to rent size 13 patent leather slingbacks*

I really like these, but only up to UK12, alot of these shoes are made by Pleaser who are really easy to find:

Are crossdresser stores still a ripoff? There's a store here called Foot Worship who are OK (only stripper styles) and the draq queen shop is mostly pretty good (no shoes though)
