Drabbles of anger
Oct. 30th, 2007 08:10 amCouple more drabbles tonight - not sure if I caught all the prompts due to my internet connection being temporarily possessed by Satan.
Thorn (Marluxia/Axel) (Not a fan of the pairing, really, but the fic kinda sprung into my head fully formed and I had to write it ^^; )
The flames died down and Vexen was no more. Sora stood there, a look of slack-jawed disbelief on his face - they were killing their own now? He left hurriedly, before the spiky-haired man could do to him what he did to the scientist.
Suddenly, a portal opened, and Number 11 came through, petals trailing after him as usual - Axel didn't understand why Marluxia always had to make such a spectacle, really - power over flowers wasn't really something to brag about after all... what could he do? Defeat those who opposed him by blowing a dandelion clock in their faces?
"Aah, Number 8 - I see you've taken care of the traitor. I'm impressed - I didn't think you had it in you!"
"Yeah, yeah - he was past his prime and had it coming - no sweat"
"Indeed. You, on the other hand... Would you betray me as easily as you did Vexen? While useful, you've hardly proven yourself trustworthy."
"I followed your orders didn't I? Old Frosty's just so much dust in the wind."
"Yes, indeed you did. Allow me to thank you."
Vines slinked across the ground, wrapping themselves around Axel's ankles, tying him to the wrought iron gate at his back. The thorns cut deep into his flesh, pulling him helplessly back, as more tendrils wrapped themselves around his arms.
Marluxia pulled back his hood in yet another cloud of blossoms, exposing the predatory grin beneath.
"I know you don't hold much respect for what I hold sway over, Number 8, but please - let me show you just how much fun it can be."
No prompt (Me venting my frustration)
The angry man swept into British Telecom Headquarters, flamethrower in hand. The receptionist was the first to face his wrath.
"BURN BITCH!"
"AAAAAAA!"
Then he realised he'd probably have been better off asking her for directions, as he didn't have a clue where the maliciously control the speed of people's internet connections department was.
Phantasmagoric Monsters (Meg/Link) (Still angry - I think it shows, somehow ;D )
She saw the flames and wept, knowing all 3 of her sisters were gone; murdered by that pestilent little brat in green. What did they ever do to him? Meg cried alone in the middle of the room, knowing she would never again see them, only the flames they once carried.
And then he arrived, sneaking up on her like the filthy murdering scum he was. She looked up at him, lips twisting in hate at the smug, knowing look on his face. He enjoyed it! The evil little bastard enjoyed wiping out her family like so many ants under a lens. "Well..." she thought, cackling wildly, "Let's see how much he enjoys this!"
She lifted herself into the air, body splitting into 4 - while she could never replace her beloved sisters, she could certainly fight like they'd never gone. Meg whacked her lamp against Link's face viciously, savouring the brittle crunch as his cheekbone shattered. His hand rose slowly to his ruined face, clutching in agony as the initial numbness wore off.
The magenta-hued phantom spun dizzyingly around him, savagely lashing out at the boy until he lay still on the ground.
Oh yes. He would pay.
(Oh, and please, merciful gods of the internet, don't let this happen again, k? :D )
