Just sinking in how much I've spent on xmas presents yesterday ^^; (And I still haven't finished - guess some will have to wait 'til the 17th now). Hope I haven't missed the xmas shipping to the US & Canada (shouldn't think so, but knowing my luck...).

I started on FFXII again the other day - I just restarted seeing as I wasn't very far in and it was so long since I played on it last. I'm quite liking it so far (more than I did FFX at least), although I'm getting annoyed at it for following in FFII's footsteps with the whole "Go where we goddamn want you to or we'll throw unkillable monsters from hell in your path so you die and lose all that crap you've been collecting over the last hour". I hated it then and I hate it now. Also, why is it so hard to get goddamn money? While I admit that monsters dropping random shit that you then sell is more realistic than the notion of a blob of jelly or a possessed turnip carrying hard cash, it would be nice if the items actually sold for a decent price :-|

Anyway, I'm going to go try and collect enough bits of bone (worth 193 gil apiece, which depressingly enough is the most valuable thing I've found so far) to get the 20000 gil Forgotten Grimoire so the bits of bone drop more often... (as well as having to spend a good chunk on Phoenix Downs every now and then, seeing as the skeletons that drop aforementioned bone seem to have a vendetta against Basch, attacking him until he drops down dead and ignoring everyone else)

And who said gaming wasn't as fun nowadays?
