Finally I'm away from the laptop and onto...

...the Windows box I previously had rigged up to the telly for games & film watching.

Ty mam's cousin for the monitor - I probably would have gave in sooner but 720p isn't really a usable desktop resolution - now it's running at my usual 1680x1050.

Must say I'm pleasantly surprised by how usable Windows 7 is, actually - once I installed Chrome and found a nice Twitter client it almost feels like home. Still, don't know if I'll be able to adjust to how scruffy the fonts look, or not having a menubar. :(

*has a look at how to go about installing Leopard on it*

Also OMG Gordon Brown resigned! :O

The Windows 7 Taskbar is close enough to the dock for comfort (yay for keeping all a program's windows under one icon; Microsoft finally caught on :D ) - my main problems are the lack of a menubar and keep pressing Win when I mean to press Ctrl; both things I'm sure I'll adapt to in time.

That Fences thing looks pretty useful though - kind of reminds me of DragThing (best Mac utility ever BTW). Ty. :D
