I'm only half-Irish and I've lived in the UK all my life; making a big deal of St. Paddy's seems like more of an American Níos Gaelaí ná na Gaeil iad féin thing... :P

I actually did wear green yesterday (by pure coincidence - most of my shirts are black or green and it was the first one I picked up) :B

Scottish festivals are a big deal in Tennessee though.

Any reason for that? Only link I can think of is whiskey (but then the Irish have that too, so IDK).
