BBC NEWS | UK | Children out late 'unacceptable': How long before she decides a curfew law is the order of the day, I wonder?

Also, Wii help needed - I was playing TP last night and the Wiimote started spacking out, making the pointer bounce all over the screen (and telling me to point it at the screen, even though I was) - wouldn't've really mattered except I was up to that bit where you have to fly up the river to kill the bugs and it kind of made it impossible. Anyone know what might be wrong and how to fix it?

Low batteries. Mine does that all the time when the battery is low, even before the little thing on the screen tells me the battery is low.

Batteries?

Or if you were playing in a different spot than you usually do, it could be that you were too close or too far away. If that's the case, you could try changing where your sensor bar is. I think your problem might just be the batteries, though.

I hate wireless remots. :|

Totally sounds like a battery problem, try a new set? Sometimes my Wiimote doesn't like rechargible batteries, period.

Low battery. Mine will start doing that sometimes before the battery life is in the red. Also, and this is weird, I've discovered that having a light on and near the sensor bar will often make the wii-mote unresponsive.

Batteries and out of whack sensors. Turn the remote with the b trigger facing up and lightly tap it against your hand, that should fix it.

:P There's already a curfew for 18 or younger in my area.

This is why I just wish they did an approach like a number of PC games today and support different controllers (e.g. Classics Controller or GameCube controller) on Wii games (like Brawl did). The Gamecube version is basically the Wii version but different control scheme so you know what the fuck Nintendo? let me switch back if I want to.

Also the Wii menu, wish it supported me just being lazy and using a GC controller to navigate through the menus (or at least to the game start menu if Im playing a GC game) so I dont have to pickup the wiimote then pick up the GC controller.
