I never thought this would happen, but I've been searching the interwebs for stuff on this area's candidates for the election, and the most appealing one is the Tory guy. D:

Obviously I don't want them to win the country as a whole (Cameron's all kinds of slimy, and they're the Tories, FFS), but considering the other options (a Lib Dem candidate who seems to be a bit of a god nut and, well, Kevan Jones), I'd be happy if this seat went blue. Probably never gonna happen anyway though - we're one of the safest Labour seats in the country.

Prediction for tomorrow: a turquoise sun rises on a pink sky and grass is discovered to be a sentient lifeform.

IDK! Apparently my local politicians are a bit confused... the ones who're supposed to be OK are dicks, and the one who's supposed to be a dick is the nicest of the lot. D:

At least the BNP one is a neo-nazi like he's supposed to be - I'd be worried otherwise.
