Just got back in after fleeing the house this morning. Boris decided to flip out for no discernable reason, badly shredded my right arm leaving three claws behind and chased me through the flat. Eventually managed to shut him in the living room, went to the doctors, got bandaged up & de-tetanused, then spent most of the day at my Mam's to give him time to cool down. Seems to have worked (although the house looks somewhat like an abbatoir - didn't realise I bled so much), but I'm pretty jumpy in case it happens again, and there was a minor kerfuffle where he wouldn't let me back out of the kitchen with coffee just now - fingers crossed that was nothing though.

So yeah... fun day. :]

If you mean for the claws, he's fine (it was just the tips he left in my arm - they'll grow back to normal length quick enough). Otherwise there doesn't seem to be anything wrong today - he's a bit more affectionate (guessing contrite ^^; ) than usual is all.

Oww is right. Tis the strange nature of de animuls. They like their random flip outs. Give the lil guy some space though, he might still be in a bad mood.

I think whatever it was is passed now though - he's back to his usual self (apart from, like I said to Leigh, more cuddly than usual - he's barely left me alone today ^^; )

Both of our Borises are acting weird! O_O; I'm sorry yours attacked you. >.<; Mine won't leave the kitchen, because we made the mistake of giving her some canned wet food, and apparently, she thinks that if she waits there long enough, more will appear. xD

The arm's still achey as all hell, but it's much less swollen and I can nearly move the fingers properly today. :D

The blood does add an interesting touch to the place, I admit. :]

(although as most of the walls are matt paint it'll be impossible to wash off properly - looks like redecoration is in the near future)
